What are the best folding techniques for inserting a menstrual cup?
There are all these fancy ways to fold cups which I think are a bit useless and confusing for users. The most common folds are C fold and Punch down fold.
The C fold helps the cup to open up easier.
The punch down is recommended for women who feels that the cup is still a little too big on the insertion and want to make the tip smaller. The down side of that is that the cup (specially if it’s a soft one) have a harder time unfolding.
It’s a try and error before you find the fold that works for you.
