Virginity and Religion
I’m a 26 year old Muslim virgin. I have the Cora size 1 but I had difficulty inserting it on my first try on a dry run (see my other post). Both my mom and cousin who’s a gynecologist say I shouldn’t use it until I’m married. What do I do? I really want to use it. Should I use it without telling them?

To be honest, no one on the internet can tell you if you should or shouldn’t use a menstrual cup or not before nikah.
Because of your beliefs, the decision is up to you based on them.
I would ask your mother (and cousin) the exact reasons why you should not use a cup. Sometimes “virginity” is not so black and white.
Some believe that vaginal penetration with any object causes a person to lose their virginity. Some believe that virginity is lost when the hymen is “broken”. While others believe that virginity is lost only when a penis enters the vagina.
Since you already tried a cup, two of those might be off the table – vaginal penetration with any object (dry run), and the hymen may have been “broken” during the dry run, or long ago during some other activity (very common). Also, keep in mind that some individuals weren’t even born with one.

If no penetration at all is a sign of chastity, then you might want to refrain from using any internal menstrual products.
If you choose not to use a menstrual cup in the end, another reusable option is cloth menstrual pads.
