Should I be able to feel my menstrual cup?
Should I be able to feel my cup from the outside? I know this sounds really silly but I can feel it when I wipe when I pee, and I can feel it through the skin around my vagina even when I am standing up. Are they meant to sit this low? I’ve tried multiple times, on multiple period to push it in higher but it won’t go. I’ve never have any problems with tampons and just not sure if this is how menstruated cups are meant to be.
The Diva Cup is considered a longer cup. All Diva Cup models are the same length. The difference between them is the diameter.
The majority of other cup brands have a different length between the small and large sizes (and any additional sizes).
You shared that the Moon Cup still gives you these problems. While the body is a bit shorter, I believe it still has a long stem. Sorry, mine doesn’t have a stem on it so I’m not sure.
Anyhow, it sounds like you have a low cervix. Did you ever locate and measure your cervix prior to purchasing these cups?
Don’t worry if you didn’t. It’s not really something most cup companies share, but knowing where your cervix is located can be a BIG help in finding a cup that might feel comfortable.

Further information about the Moon Cup…
The rim on this cup is very bulky and firm. It is likely applying pressure to a sensitive area. Some people might feel some aching, cramping, have a hard time using the bathroom or feeling like they have to use the bathroom more often.
Something with a softer rim or a rim design closer to the Diva Cup should eliminate that problem.
What size Diva Cup do you have? Other than it feeling too long, was the diameter comfortable? Did you have any “stomach aches” with it?
