My cup doesnot create full suction
So basically what happens is when I insert my cup inside me it opens(doesn’t remain in the folded form that I used to insert it) but it stays folded inward from one side. And if I pinch it from the other side to open up then the other side folds inward . Like it doesn’t create full suction . I have to try so many folds and so many tries to get it right just once and sometimes I leave it like that and it doesn’t leak and sometimes it leaks. And I have also tried to calm myself and try again but still doesn’t work. Just let me know if you have faced this problem and what can I do to make it work
Hi There!
– Make sure that the cup is properly inserted:
In a squatting position, aim the folded cup down and back towards your tailbone. The cervix isn’t normally located straight up into the vaginal canal. Inserting it as such can result in a cup that won’t open completely, leaking, shifting or rotating, and/or discomfort and pressure.
– If one side still stays slightly folded in:
Wiggle the cup down, let it expand completely, and then use a finger to push it back up into place. Often, when a cup (any cup) is inserted completely, the cervix gets in the way of allowing the rim to fully expand. Wiggling or rocking the cup down will let your cervix correct itself while the rim expands.
Alternatively, you can insert the cup halfway and then let it open before using a finger to push it into place.
Either way will help the cup open before being positioned directly under or around the cervix.
As for the leaking, there’s always some blood coating the vaginal walls even after the cup is placed. To avoid spotting, use a wet pH balanced wipe or cloth to clean the grip rings and stem of any excess blood.
If you’re overflowing, then you just might need a different shape or size.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck! <3
