Menstrual cup size
My age is 21. My cervix size is 2.5 centimeter. Can I use organic mini?
Hello There!
It’s a common misconception that because someone has a low cervix they have to use the smallest cup. In actuality, it can lead to constant leaking.
There are a couple of reasons why small cups aren’t always the answer.
1. The cups’ small diameter can make it hard for the cervix to be positioned correctly.
2. The cervix can sit inside of the cup and displace the already low capacity.
Both can result in overflow leaking.
Instead, a short but wider cup can accommodate the cervix comfortably while still providing some space for the menstrual flow.
With that being said, the Mini AllMatters Cup (formerly the OrganiCup) measures 4.4 cm in body length and holds a max of 19ml.
Although it may work with your anatomy, if you have a moderate to heavy flow, you may find yourself emptying the cup more often than you would like.
Good Luck <3
