I insert the menstrual cup inside my vagaina first time and the stem of the menstrual cup goes inside and unable to take out by my fingers?
Am I doing something wrong?
The stem of the menstrual cup can be either hanging outside of the body or inserted all the way inside the vaginal entrance. However, most people feel more comfortable with it fully inserted, often trimmed down in size, so it is not felt or detected. It’s a personal preference.
If you can not feel the stem to remove it, try squatting down and pushing your muscles like you’re going to give birth or have a bowel movement (poop). You may need to push a few times to be able to reach it, but it should move down a bit with each push.
If you continue to have a hard time reaching your cup to remove it, you may want to consider a longer cup or a cup with a longer stem. A “V”-shaped cup might be a good place to start.
Good Luck <3
