Low cervix, heavy flow
I’m 19 and, sexually active and have not given birth yet. I have a very heavy flow on the first day and wanted to buy a ruby cup as it’s one of the good ones available in my area. I have a low cervix (upto my 2nd knuckle), should I go for the medium size?

If you can insert up to your 2nd knuckle, I would consider your cervical height to be medium/low. You might benefit by looking into some other short but higher capacity cups. Super Jennie, LaliCup, MyCup, Tieut, Merula, are all considered higher capacity cups and have been known to work well with a medium/low cervix. You might be interested in one of those if they are available in your area.
The Ruby Cups are shorter than the average menstrual cup, but the small seems more narrow, as well. I would suggest getting the medium size based on your heavy flow. This way if your cervix sits inside of the cup, the medium will still allow you some capacity.
