How does a menstrual cup stay in position?
A menstrual cup is made pliable and it is designed to stay in position in your vagina (when fitted properly) by the use of popping open and forming a firm seal when inserted. Your cup is inserted into the vagina right under your cervix and the vaginal tissue which is also flexible helps to hold it in place as well. Most of the times the holes placed on the rim of the bell of the cup do the work to seal the cup in place.
