Difficult to Peeing with Diva cup
I’m happy with my menstrual cup I bought a Diva Cup a year ago and I having urination issues peeing with it. My pee comes out much slower sometimes not and I have to remove the cup and if I forced for pee in order to get it all out and need to remove the cup. Sometimes I have to switched on pad that I don’t like. Please Help me and suggest other menstrual cup brand
Hi! Your cup may need to be pushed up a little more and if you have done that then I suggest purchasing a softer cup. Lena sensitive, Saalt soft should work. This happened to me before and it was because my cup was sitting low and it needed to be pushed up more. Make sure the cup is past your pubic bone and not sitting in the middle of this area
Hello There!
A slower urine stream is one sign that the particular cup may be too firm for you or that it’s pressing on a sensitive area. Other signs can be needing to urinate more frequently or that you feel that you don’t empty your bladder completely. Constipation can also be a sign that you have a sensitive bowel or that the cup is causing pressure issues.
My suggestion is to turn the cup inside out if you are comfortable removing it without a stem. See if that feels more comfortable. It’s perfectly safe to use this way, but if you end up choosing to purchase another cup, you will probably want either something a little narrower or softer.
If you would like me to suggest a couple of cups, I need to know what model Diva Cup you are using so that I can use its measurements.
Until then, Good Luck & Stay Safe <3
