cervix inside cup
Been trying and using cups for a little over a year… finally on my 6th cup and I think I found my “goldilocks” cup, as in it doesn’t slide down, no leaks, it’s great…. except for when it’s time for removal. It’s a very firm cup. I have a very low cervix, and whenever I use this particular cup, I can tell that my cervix is sitting inside the cup. When I try to remove it/break the seal, I push in on the side of the cup, but it just squishes against my cervix and I can’t break the seal. Any helpful tips??

Have you ever tried just “burping” the cup? Basically, just pinching the base to force out any air. It breaks the seal and if you don’t release it, it shouldn’t create a vacuum or suction when you pull it down.
You can also try caving in just the base of the cup by using a “come here” motion with your finger, working the cup in a downward motion.
