Built-in absorbent liner to collect your period flow immediately!

PantyProp period panties are the most versatile panties on the market! This is thanks to their patent-pending technology that allows you to wear them with or without ANY form of menstrual protection to keep you perfectly protected from stains and unexpected leaks.

Unlike other panties, if you’re a pad wearer you don’t have to suffer from your pad bunching and shifting because of their extra added option & patent-pending design that locks your pad securely in place.

If you prefer tampons, sponges or even menstrual cups, the built-in absorbent liner will catch and trap any leaks so that you don’t ruin your clothes.

Or if your flow is light to moderate you can opt to wear PantyProp period panties by themselves. Their special fabric quickly wicks wetness away from your body so that you always feel fresh, clean and most importantly dry!

How many times have you ended up with an embarrassing, unexpected leak because your pad shifted over to the side or tampon/cup leaked? Or even worse, it became stuck to you! PantyProp menstrual underwear aims to solve those problems for good.

In addition to their period panties, they also offer a full line of swimwear, leggings and bodysuits with built-in backup protection and pad-securing pockets.

How They Work

These period panties have a built-in, 100% organic cotton absorbent liner and a extra added option / securing pocket that angles perfectly and collects your flow immediately onset, eliminating side, front, or back overflow from tampons, pads, or cups. They use only the highest grade of materials in the construction of their panties, meaning that there is NO plastic and NO latex in them at all.

These menstrual panties are easy to take care of and are so durable they can last for up to 2 years. Just throw them in the wash and tumble dry! – no handwashing needed Just don’t use fabric softener because it can interfere with the material’s absorbent properties.

PantyProp describes their menstrual undies as having five features:

  • Highly absorbent: The gusset or crotch area is lined with highly absorbent “dri-tech” fabric
  • Patent-Pending “Pad-pocket”:The gusset area is a specially designed “pad-pocket” that holds properly in place without letting it shift around or bunch. This prevents leaks and chafing!
  • Completely Discreet: The design is thin enough to conceal the pad from being seen through your clothes while the panties are worn. So if you don’t want others to know you’re on your period, they won’t.
  • Body conform fit: The four-way stretchy fabric in the gusset area provides a snug, secure fit
  • Sanitary: Their antimicrobial fabric keeps you fresh, dry & sanitary

Unless otherwise specified, all of the products from PantyProp have the features listed above and come in the following sizes:

  • S/SM (waist size 25-27)

About the Company

PantyProp leapt onto the period-underwear scene in late 2015. They’re based in New York, NY with a woman named Crystal at the helm (no last name given).

These panties are designed to provide extra leak protection but also to stop menstrual pads from shifting around, which if you think about it, is probably the most common cause of leaks for pad-wearers.

Final Thoughts

The PantyProp line of functional undergarments, swimwear and clothing were thoughtfully designed with menstrual pad wearers in mind. Not only do They hold pads in place they have leak-proof absorbent qualities for extra comfort.

The only downside to these panties is that the pad holding gusset can only hold standard-sized pads. If you prefer extra-long pads, you can still place them on top of the gusset, they just won’t fit into the pad-holding pocket. However, it will effectively hold standard-length pads of all thicknesses and absorbency levels. And the absorbent liner is built-in

Even if you don’t normally wear pads, you may appreciate the absorbent qualities that give back-up protection against leaks. Also, PantyProp period panties will hold a pantyliner in place. Normally, small panty liners are notorious for bunching up and slipping out of place. That won’t happen with PantyProp menstrual underwear and clothing.

The underwear and swimwear from this company is amazing for my period. I have used them a few times on my cycle and last summer, I have never had any leak happen. The swimwear protection works really well if you are wondering, I wore it in the beach and pool. The underwear I wear sometimes without any protection and when I know my period is very heavy I use it for that extra protection with my menstrual cup.

+ PROS: the leak coverage the swimsuit look really good
    - CONS: standard shipping is sloooooow, definitely use express if you need it immediately

I waited a few months to test and try these products before I wrote my review. I have the underwear, sleep short. Legging and swimwear

The customer service is very supportive and answer questions very quickly and direct. That I do like. No beat around the bush.

The products functionality is definitely one of the best I’ve tried. I brought pantyprop because I wanted to stop leaking into my clothes when I had my bloody period. The underwear, swimwear, legging, and sleep shorts are all absorbent with better leak options. I never leaked in any of the products I have and they are all comfortable as long as you have the correct size. I had to exchange my sleep shorts for a smaller size because the instructions said it must fit snug, once I had the correct size it worked out great. It Took a while to get it back because they donate the original to people in need and sent me a replacement. I love the fact that they don’t resell worn or tried on products but only sell completely new and never worn.

Heads up, when you first get the underwear, it may look different than what you are use to, but once you put them on it looks and feel like regular underwear and the absorbency is the best. I wore my underwear for nearly 6 hours alone and didn’t have any leakage.
The crotch area really absorbs well. There was also no odor AT ALL, and I didn’t feel hot down there like another brand on this list.

My favorite product from pantyprop was the period swimwear. My skepticism was by far eliminated after wearing it in the pool. I was shocked it really worked like they said. I have the Racerback in black and it is actually my favorite swimsuit period or not. The leggings don’t require underwear which was great, I wore them to work out in with a tank top , but would suggest a longer shirt if you are headed to the mall, but overall the leggings felt dry and absorbed all my blood solo for 3 classes.

This products overall works exactly as described and holds liquid well from leaking. I liked all of my products and still do.

Its a great product, recommend it a lot. I’ve been getting a lot of heavy periods recently and I really wanted to buy replacements for backup pads and it was worth it. Not only it was a lot more comfortable, it also gave me no leakage for the whole day. I have used them for some time now and again it was really worth buying them.

Also the colours on the PantyProps are really nice. I bought the “PropKini’s” with black striped colours. They were everything that the description said about them and much much better than my expectations. I would 100 percent recommend them to anyone who doesn’t want to wear pads.

+ PROS: Comfortable fabric No leakage
    - CONS: None ;)

This panty prop brand was a winner for me, I have a medium to heavy period from beginning to end and I have never had a stain with this companies underwear. I have definitely tried a few others, even the more popular brand that is higher priced and I have always had a problem with bad leaks in my clothes and the dreaded hand wash blood scene. The panty prop absorbency takes me throughout my entire work day. The convenience is wonderful, I do not have to change my underwear or carry bloody ones around all day, the fact that it keeps me leak free is amazing, and most importantly the absorbency is much better than others I have tried.

+ PROS: Comfortable, Absorbent liner, No customs fees
    - CONS: Standard shipping is too slow

So I’ve been using these panties for the past two cycles and here are my thoughts. I think the idea of period panties is a good one but so far my experiences with the Pantyprop brand have been mixed.

On the one hand I like that they have several different sizes and cuts of their underwears. The colors and patterns they come in are pretty good.

The main reason I gave these a try is because I want to find a good replacement to buying backup pads and pantyliners. My period is pretty heavy (filling up a medium MeLuna Classic in 3.5 hours the first 2-3 days) so having good backup protection is vital. When there are no leaks from the cup outside of residual slobber the Pantyprop panties work fine. However, if there is a leak and the blood does not get on the liner it soaks through and gets on my pants. This has happened twice in the front. Wearing a pad or pantyliner with the underwear kills the whole point of buying underwear like this – if I still need those then buying the ‘special’ underwear has no point. It’s a shame but if this happens one more time I’m going with a different brand.

Overall, I like the concept but the actual product should have the waterproof layer extended more to the front and back of the underwear.

+ PROS: - Come in a wide range of sizes - Nice selection of designs - Comfortable
    - CONS: - Absorbent layer only extends to the center of the underwear

I have a heavy period and after looking into and trying various brands, the underwear from pantyprop worked the best for my needs. When I wear my underwear from this brand I never stain over or spill. Since my period is extremely heavy I use to get those side leaks, but with these underwear I have not at all, its really amazing that someone can create a product just for periods. I purchased their bundle savings and was able to try both styles, though they’re are both great and full coverage, my favorite is the bikini because I get bad cramps and bloating so these go a little more paste the hips, the hipster is good for low-rise. During the day I wear them solo but at night I also use the little pocket to add my pad, it keeps it in place. They’re very comfortable surprisingly. I would recommend the productto anyone who does not want to worry about stains during a cycle.

These underwear have super exceeded my expectations from when I first open the package. I was very excited for me and my daughter to try this, hoping it worked out well, and it did! My daughter just wore them the other day to school all day long and she came home super excited to tell me that she felt confident and comfortable all day and had no leakage, she actually forgot she had on “special undies” until about 7th period when she went to the bathroom and remembered. For me – I was afraid of them feeling uncomfortable but they are not, they feel invisible while wearing. I am wearing my pair now as I write this at home and I think they are great. I have had them on for about 2 hours so far with nothing and so far no leakage, or wetness.

+ PROS: Confidence booster during period Comfortable Pretty Teen Designs
    - CONS: Not much communication from company, they just appear at your door steps after you purchase LOL! (I used standard)

All I cared about was if they worked, and they def did. I hate being at work worrying about stains, I work outside as a police officer and sometimes it is difficult to change often. They work. I had to exchange my ordered size for a smaller size, and they offer me an exchange without any problems. I might try the swimwear soon if it goes son sale and then I will update for those as well if I use them. The service is good, they do answer emails very quick like others have said. They are a bit pricey for their swimwear

Unless you have a perfect period and only bleed in the crotch part that is lined, don’t bother with these. I was wearing the panties with a diva cup and leaked blood where it was not lined and then it bled into my shorts. The sizes are not true at all. I am normally a large in underwear (being 5’9″ and 180 lbs) and I couldn’t get the large over my knees. So I bought the 3XL to make sure that they fit. I took them 4.5 months to get me my replacement pair. It is a waste of money and time.

The good…When I first got my order I was extremely weary of the product – I thought it would be uncomfortable, but I convinced myself to use it the next month on my period, and I have to admit, they are very comfortable and worked good for absorbing. I had to realize they’re underwear for a purpose, not fashion. They do look and feel like normal underwear so you quickly forget what hey are needed for.
Now for the bad stuff… I didn’t fully read the website and just assumed when I chose standard shipping 7-10 days it would come sooner than the time it said. It did arrive in 9 business days, but if you are not using expedited or express it doesn’t ship the next day , when you are use to getting packages very quickly from Amazon – it sucks. I know it is my fault for just assuming it would come quicker, but I feel they could hire a few more people to help with this process. My next problem is, everytime I have tried to buy the one piece swimsuit it is sold out in my size. I have emailed to ask when it will be restocked and they do not have a date. If you are know that your items are very popular Panty Prop, shouldn’t you restock it for people to buy, or at least have a email that can tell me when it restocks. The bottom line is I like the product and what it does to help with stains, it does work, but please please please please make enough swimwear for customers to buy, and hire more people.

+ PROS: the absorbency is great the product is comfortable
    - CONS: Hire more people Add more sizes and inventory for everyone - not just small girls

They work, they really do and they work exceptionally well. The absorbent liner that is built into them inside does not look or feel like a pad at all, I did not feel anything while I wore them, it feels sort of like a lightweight underwear. They made them to look like my normal underwear and they actually do, but absorbs leakage excellent.
I no longer get any side leakage.
I use to leak at night while I slept onto my sheets up my back, but it did not happen this time. I see why they sell out quite often and have wait times. I intend to purchase more. For the price, comfort, and relief, they are well worth every penny spent for me.
I just wish they re-stocked quicker, but definitely worth the wait.

+ PROS: great protection comfortable affordable for people on a budget
    - CONS: always sold out should be able to purchase in store

Wow, what can I say? These period panties are the best! I got the Prop Up Hi Waist, and was worried that they would be too high.
But they are perfect, on me at least; they fit like a low-rise brief, covering the hips but stopping below the belly button. They are comfy and very stretchy! The cut in the back is a bit higher, but far from cheeky; you can easily pull them up or down as needed! The mesh gusset is great, holds the pad in place, and catches any extra side mess. I am a cloth pad user, so if you are too; then you should know that the max size that the gusset will hold, is 9 inches. I was very pleased to see how well these panties worked; even using cloth pads, without adhesive on the back and with wings, they held very well! Simply snap the wings together and prop it in! Also, they breathe! I’ve been struggling with some crazy rashes the past few months; put these on, and bam! Sweet relief, no more diaper rash cream for me! The only slight downside, is that they may not be the best choice for overnight use, depending on your flow. I just put on an old pair of undies and a long bedtime pad, and that works for me. They are the best for daytime use though, working, exercising, and just generally being in public! If you are a gal with pad problems, or have pad induced anxiety; these will help you stay saner, during that psycho time of the month! Not to mention the great customer service! This company rocks! They really take care of you, and have very fast response time! Highly recommended, a bit pricy at first, but they pay for themselves quite quickly! And really, if you compare them to some of the other period panty brands, they’re down right affordable! Try’em and see for yourself!

+ PROS: Reusable & Eco-friendly Soft & Comfy Easy to care for! Really holds pad in place!
    - CONS: May not be the best choice for overnight use, depending on your flow.

I am also hoping to use these with cloth pads. If 9 inches is the longest the gusset could hold, would 8 inches be too short to hold them securely? Also, is there a certain width that would fit best?

These worked great and absorbed perfectly, I have a heavy period and I just got my period the other day and have been waiting to try these out – after my first few hours I forgot I even was on my period. I just ordered a few more from their website. I see why they sell out so quick, they are by far the best period panties. I also purchased Thinx and they did not work as they claimed, they were very uncomfortable due to constant wedgies and just didn’t feel right. But the ones from Panty Prop are excellent. The options, the price, and the absorbency is good. .

The BEST underwear I have ever owned – seriously! I wore these ALONE for about 6 hours and they absorbed great – (light period due to birth control), I then added my cloth pad after the 6 hours and it didn’t feel like I added anything – it was completely discreet. They are super-duper comfortable and soft – and very thin, but whatever fabric they made for the absorbency is one of the best. I love that they are made of all fabrics and no plastic like that other expensive brand. These really are what period panties should be like. The customer service is really great also, they answered all my questions within the hour. I highly recommend.

It sucks to get to work and need to run home ( this has happened to me with another brand on the list) the customer service is GREAT!!!!!!!!! only thing I would suggest is they seem to be very popular and sell out quick so I waited 2.5 weeks for an item on back order, if you can order a item in stock if you need it quick. Otherwise worth the wait!

I don’t have the underwear but I have their period swimwear, Propswim, It really does works! I was very skeptical when I first got it about a year ago, but I used it while I was on vacation in Cancun, Mexico about a month ago because my period decided to show up while I was there and it worked really good. I swam in the pool with no problem, . I plan to purchase two more because I had to use the same one everyday. You can’t even tell its a special bottom.

I am also hoping to use these with cloth pads. If 9 inches is the longest the gusset could hold, would 8 inches be too short to hold them securely? Also, is there a certain width that would fit best?

Are you willing to define heavy? I’m changing overnight size pads every hour. Just looking for backup for leaks. Will these work?
