Are They Trying to Do Too Much?

NatraTouch WorryFree period panties come in such a variety of styles and fabrics; it’s enough to boggle the mind. What they all have in common is they’re meant to be worn only as a backup during your menstrual period, you have to wear them with a pad, menstrual cup or tampon. They can only be worn alone for light spotting. All of their panties can be machine washed and dried, which makes life a lot easier. The majority of their styles have full coverage on the back and less coverage in the front. If you like to shop around and look at different styles, then NatraTouch WorryFree might be the brand for you!

How Do They Work?

Each NatraTouch period panty has a leak-proof lining that, in most styles, is sewn in the crotch and goes up to the waistband in the back of the panties. The type of fabric they use for the body and lining varies with each particular style of panty. You can read the descriptions of the individual styles below to learn more.

Style 7 : Bamboo Brief with Hidden Front Pocket

These period panties have a high rise and a hidden pocket that’s perfect for holding a small heat pack to help with cramps or an extra pad when you don’t want to carry a purse. These are made from eco-friendly bamboo fibers blended with spandex for a stretchy, comfortable fit. This menstrual underwear doesn’t provide any extra absorbency and is meant to be worn as a backup to your regular feminine hygiene products only. These panties are only available in one size that fits girls size 10 to 14 and women size 2 to 4.

The hipster cut and animal print make these panties a stylish addition to your menstrual-protection wardrobe. Style 10 : Polka Dots Bamboo Fiber

This period underwear is adorable but unfortunately it only comes in one size: girls size 10 to 14 / women’s size 2 to 4. These are meant to be worn as a backup only during your period. The leak-proof protection is mainly on the back of this underwear. If you don’t sleep on your back at night, these may not be the brand for you.

  • Outer Material: 95% bamboo fiber, 5% spandex
  • Leak-proof lining: 82% bamboo fiber, 18% polyester
  • Colors: Black with polka dots, pink with polka dots
  • Estimated Price: $10.00 each

Style 11 : Tie-Dyed NatraTouch WorryFree Seamless Period Panty

This period panty comes in a brief or bikini cut. The brief sits higher on the waist. Both styles are made from a stretchy nylon/spandex blend that’s similar to swimsuit material. The leak-proof layer is sewn into the crotch and goes up to the waistband in the front and back. The tie-dye print is really pretty and not something you see that often on underwear. These panties have no tags so there’s nothing to scratch you, and they come in sizes small, medium and large.

Outer Material: Nylon, spandex
Leak-proof lining: 100 percent cotton
Colors: Black tie dye, pink tie dye
Estimated Price: $8.00 to 10.00 each

Style 12 : Hi-Rise Brief with Pocket

These panties have a very high waist that goes above the belly button. I’d only recommend wearing them at home or under a dress because the waistband will show above most pants. There’s a kangaroo-style pocket in the front for holding a heat pack or an extra pad if you don’t want to carry a purse. The waterproof fabric is in the crotch and the back, not in the front. The fabric is very soft and stretchy. Wear these as a backup to your tampon, cup or pad. These panties are available in sizes small through extra-large.

Outer Material: 95% cotton, 5% spandex
Leak-proof lining: 82% bamboo fiber, 18% polyester
Colors: Assorted
Estimated Price: $27.99 for 3

Style 13 : Lace Pocket Hi-Rise Cotton Brief

Let’s face it, this style will only appeal to a very select group of women. The waistband is extremely high. The plus side to that is it can provide an extra layer of warmth to help with cramps during your time of the month. The small pocket on the front is trimmed with lace and a small bow and can be used to hold a small heat pack or an extra pad. Available in sizes extra small through large. This menstrual underwear must be worn with a pad, menstrual cup or tampon.

Outer Material: 95% cotton, 5% spandex
Inner leak-proof lining: 100% cotton
Colors: Gray with black lace trim
Estimated Price: $12.99 each

Customer Feedback

There aren’t many reviews for NatraTouch period panties, and each pair of their period panties is different from the other, so it’s difficult to generalize about the brand. I noted the style-specific customer feedback under the description of each style whenever I could find some information.

About the Company

NatraTouch is a company that also makes disposable organic menstrual pads and a range of organic wipes. Their parent company is called Apropos. NatraTouch is focused on creating safe, natural personal care products.

The Bottom Line

NatraTouch Worry Free period panties are inexpensive compared to other brands. That to me is the bottom line. The majority of their underwear has full back lining but no lining in the front. That may work great for back sleepers, but not so well for the rest of us. Honestly, I still haven’t figured out what makes their lining waterproof; they never explain it. One reviewer said the lining feels like PUL, which is waterproof. However, the company never states that they use PUL material. That said, even though the information about them is sketchy, I think these panties are worth trying since the cost is low.
