The LaliCup was designed and produced in Slovenia. It first appeared on the market in 2016. It’s known for its unique design of outer wall curves that fold easier and smaller for comfortable insertion and helps to unfold while inside of the vagina. Although it’s offered mostly through the EU, you can find it available to ship to the USA through online stores for about $34 for the clear cup or $35 for the LaliCup in a variety of colors.

What’s Included
When purchasing the small LaliCup, you will receive the shortest and narrowest cup that LaliCup offers, a user manual, and a cloth storage pouch with a zipper.
Who is it Meant For?
The LaliCup Company considers several factors when choosing a size. They have a great size chart that can help you determine which size might be right for you. According to the chart, the size small can be used by those who have not had penetrative sex, teens, those who have not given birth, those with a low cervix, and individuals who are active in sports.
As an individual with a medium to a high cervix, I found the small LaliCup easy to fold and insert, as well as comfortable to wear. However, as someone who has experienced very heavy periods, I prefer the two larger sizes over the small.
Special Features
Capacity – The small LaliCup holds 20 ml to the air holes and 27 ml to the top of the rim. While this is not considered high capacity, it still holds slightly more than some other small-sized cups.
Body – The body is rounded but not quite a bell-shape. It has a pointed base, but not quite a “V”-shape either. It’s the best of both worlds as the rounded body can accommodate the cervix without compromising all of the capacity.
Again, the LaliCup is a unique design with outer wall curves that fold easier and smaller for comfortable insertion and helps to unfold while inside of the vagina.
Because this is a shorter cup, I would suggest the small size for individuals with a low to a medium cervix.
Stem – The stem on the small LaliCup is a decent length. Even individuals with a medium to high cervix who choose the small may find it still easy to reach. The ‘stick’ style stem is made of a solid piece of silicone. It has three grip rings and a flat stopper at the end. It can be easily trimmed if needed using the grip rings as a guide.
Rim – The LaliCup has a standard upper rim. This feature also makes it different from regular bell-shaped cups which tend to have a flared rim. Because the standard rim is a thicker piece of solid silicone, it normally has a bit more firmness to it for ease of opening.
Secondary Rim – Again, something that most bell-shaped cups lack is a secondary rim. Secondary rims help smooth out the transition between the body and the upper rim of the cup. It also adds some firmness without adding bulk.
Grip Rings – The base of the LaliCup features three flower-shaped grip rings that get smaller in size as you near the stem. These are rounded and some say that the design helps you grip better since it’s not a line.
Silicone Quality – In my opinion, the silicone quality of the LaliCup is excellent and should last many years of use. The lighter colors are semi-translucent and even the black shows light through it even if you can’t make out any images.
Firmness – The firmness of the LaliCup is a little tricky to gauge. Because the outer wall curves collapse to fold easier and smaller, it feels soft when squeezing the cup. However, the same curves push outward to help the body expand which makes it feel like a medium firmness when pressure is released.
Many who have found other cups to be too firm, found comfort in using the LaliCup as the curves can collapse independently easing pressure from sensitive areas. Overall, I would consider it a medium firmness.
Air Holes – The LaliCup has four medium-sized air holes just below the upper rim to help expand the cup after insertion, as well as help release any seal or suction the cup creates during removal.
Seams – The only flash line (seam) can be found on the side of the rim. However, it is barely visible and can hardly be felt.
Markings – The outside of the cup reads LaliCup & Made in EU on the secondary rim. There are also measuring lines and numbers in milliliters.

What’s Included
When purchasing the medium-sized LaliCup, you will receive a cup that is slightly longer than the small as well as with a slightly wider diameter. A user manual and a cloth storage pouch with a zipper is also included.
Who is it Meant For?
The LaliCup Company considers several factors when choosing a size. They have a great size chart that can help you determine which size might be right for you. According to the chart, the size medium can be used by teens with a heavy flow, those who have not given birth, individuals who have given birth with a moderate to heavy flow, those with a low to a medium cervix, and individuals who are active in sports with a heavy flow.
I found the medium LaliCup easy to fold and insert, comfortable to wear, and easy to reach for removal both while my cervix was on the medium and the higher side. Although it is not the highest capacity cup they have to offer, the medium still holds an impressive 36 ml to the rim.
Special Features
Capacity – The medium LaliCup holds 28 ml to the air holes and 36 ml to the top of the rim. For the length and size of the medium, it is considered a high capacity and may last a full day (12 hours) of protection for those with a moderate flow.
Although this cup is slightly longer than the average small-sized cup and shorter than the average large-sized cup, it has still been reported to be worn comfortably by all cervical heights.
Stem – The stem on the medium LaliCup is a decent length. Even individuals with a high cervix may find it still easy to reach. The ‘stick’ style stem is made of a solid piece of silicone. It has three grip rings and a flat stopper at the end. It can be easily trimmed if needed using the grip rings as a guide.

What’s Included
When purchasing the large-sized LaliCup, you will receive the largest cup with the widest diameter that they offer. A user manual and a cloth storage pouch with a zipper is also included.
Who is it Meant For?
The LaliCup Company considers several factors when choosing a size. They have a great size chart that can help you determine which size might be right for you. According to the chart, the size large can be used by young adults who have not given birth with a moderate or heavy flow, individuals who have given birth with a moderate to heavy flow, those with weak pelvic floor muscles, individuals with a medium to a high cervix.
I found the large LaliCup easy to fold and insert, comfortable to wear, and easy to reach for removal both while my cervix was on the medium and the higher side. Although the medium size is sufficient for my moderate flow days, I sometimes use the large if I know that I won’t have access to a toilet as often. I also use the large when my flow is heavy to very heavy. It’s great for travel, especially on long flights.
Special Features
Capacity – The large LaliCup holds 31 ml to the air holes and 40 ml to the top of the rim. This cup is considered high capacity and may last a full day (12 hours) of protection for those with a moderate flow or almost all day even for those with a heavy flow.
Stem – The stem on the large LaliCup is shorter than the other two sizes because the length of the body is longer. However, individuals with a high cervix should still find it easy to reach. The ‘stick’ style stem is made of a solid piece of silicone. It has three grip rings and a flat stopper at the end. It can be easily trimmed if needed using the grip rings as a guide.

Alternatives to LaliCup
Venus Cup – Need more capacity? The Venus Cup is one of the highest capacity cups on the market. Even the small size has the capacity closer to average large cups than average small cups. The Venus Cup does not have a flared rim, so if you have a very low cervix, even the small size may still be a tad too long for you.
Super Jennie – The body of the small Super Jennie is the same length as the body of the small LaliCup, but the Super Jennie holds a bit more at 32 ml to the top of the rim (five milliliters more). The body of the Super Jennie is slightly wider and might be a good option for those who feel the small LaliCup too narrow. The large Super Jennie is a few millimeters shorter than the LaliCup but has a slightly wider diameter.
Summary
The LaliCup is not only a quality cup, but was also designed with care. The unique outer wall curves is an excellent element that combats many issues that a lot of people have with menstrual cups. This design not only makes it easier to use, but comfortable to wear for individuals who experience bladder or bowel issues. The three sizes are sure to accommodate any cervical height and the capacity is a huge bonus for users with a moderate to very heavy flow.

You forgot to mention that there is also size xl available. Maybe that interesting for people with a very heavy flow.
I received the Lalicup (large), on the last days of my period, when I don’t have a very heavy flow so couldn’t test its capacity. But looks like a generous capacity cup. It is not hard nor super soft but perfect! The rim is not as hard as the Organicup (which apparently is softer overall) and when I put it in I don’t feel it at all despite it being bigger than other cups I used. Perhaps it’s the shape. The only thing I noticed is that I went to pee more often when wearing it but only tried it one day so not completely certain if it was just a coincidence.
I Must say that LaliCup was worth every penny I spent on it! I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner. Since I have heavy period flow, I purchased model L and it never once leaked or overflowed. At first I was worried about how I would be able to work out or swim with a menstrual cup (will I feel it, will the stem be problematic, will it leak…) but LaliCup stays in place during all physical activities and the stem is flexible so it does not bother me at all.
Women go for it, you will definitely not regret it! =)
I can’t seem to find anything wrong with this cup. It’s not too soft, not too firm, has a high capacity, and isn’t uncomfortable at all. I was actually able to have a BM while wearing it, and that’s not something I can normally do. I do wish it were cheaper, but at the same time, I certainly don’t regret paying the price. I think I’m done searching for cups.
I just got this cup yesterday and am eager to try it and so have so far only done a dry run. So far it’s very comfortable and easy to insert and open. I don’t know about leaks yet, but I’ll repost another review when I used it on my cycle
This cup is a wee bit on the soft side, so I had to use a 7 fold to open it up. The stiffer cups I can use a C fold with.
I received the Lalicup very quickly and i am super impressed with it. Absolutely no leaks or any other issues! It has a great bell-shaped body and suits my anatomy perfectly. It is soft and comfortable and easy to remove. I’ve been using menstrual cups for 3 years now and Lali cup is far my favorite cup. The silicon is well made, the stem is soft and flexible so you don`t feel it at all and the grip marks are very strong so the cup is easy to reach. The capacity of 40,1 ml is great. I have heavy flow and volume of this cup is perfect for me. I’m very satisfied that I have found my ‘goldilocks’ cup and would recommend it to any woman who is looking for a good, medium firm cup with great capacity.
