Keeper & Moon Cup (US) Sizes and Models
The Keeper & Moon Cup (US) is a menstrual cup that is manufactured in USA. It is made of rubber and comes in 4 different sizes/models:Back before the development of modern feminine hygiene products such as sanitary napkins and tampons, rags were a woman’s only option for collecting menstrual fluid. This also birthed the cliché of a woman “being on the rag” which is often used today to define when a woman is experiencing her period.
Keeper produces many products, but our focus in this review will be on their menstrual cups selection which are all highly acclaimed menstrual cups according to hundreds of online reviews. The Menstrual Cup is a soft device that is inserted into a woman’s vagina to capture (not absorb) menstrual fluid. In lieu of other feminine hygiene options for menstruation, the menstrual cup offers a variety of benefits that tampons and pads do not offer.

1. Moon Cup Model (by Keeper)
The Moon Cup, Menstrual Cup by Keeper is the most popular out of them all. It is made with a medical grade silicone and manufactured in the USA.
It is also available in two sizes and is designed to be used with ease, worn comfortably, and to supply an ultimate amount of leakage protection.
After perusing many reviews on the Mooncup, we found that female consumers who lead a very active lifestyle find the Moon Cup to be essentially key in providing them the best protection on the go, during movement, and for durability.
“I highly recommend the Mooncup for anyone doing aggressive athletic sports. Although, I also recommend it for anyone. Ever. It has made a huge difference every month and I feel free to live my normal life.” (Amazon.com)
2. The Keeper CuP MOdel (By Keeper)
The Keeper Cup, Menstrual Cup by Keeper is the only single menstrual cup produced by Keeper that is rubber-based.
It is also the first original menstrual cup that Keeper debuted in 1989. It is made to be more durable than the silicone based, Lunette and Moon Cup- but is not recommended to anyone who may have an allergy to latex. It also comes in two sizes (A is the larger one. B is the smaller one) for your convenience.
The Keeper has the same price as the Moon Cup.
*One of the cons to using ‘The Keeper’ is that it contains mall holes at the base of the rim that can be a chore to clean. So anyone that uses it has to make certain that these holes do not get clogged up.

Works well. Extremely firm so it doesn’t slip down. ***HOWEVER*** They seem to be out of business so are taking orders but not delivering your cup after you pay. No one answers the phones or emails.
I was surprised that I really like the Keeper! Some people didn’t like the firmness but that’s what made it so great for me. It was so easy to insert and popped right open, no struggling like with softer cups. I have the size A and I wish it had a little more capacity for my heavy days, but that’s it the only real con.
The keeper was great. I actually used it to travel the World for 10 years knowing many of the countries I was going to be in wouldn’t have any tampons! I got the small size because I was only 24 when I left.
Super love the Keeper Cup! Gave it a 5 Star Review.
Was totally easy to use. Wasn’t messy and for once I actually felt like I wasn’t having to constantly check and change my tampons or pads every single hour. I barely felt it in and it fit beautifully.
Safe to say I am done with tampons and I am now all about the cup!
I’ve gone through 3 keepers in 3 years. I am so shocked that all these women say it lasts them 10 years. The reason I have to throw them out so soon is because the stem keeps getting shorter as it wears away every time I pull it out. Even though I try to relax my pelvic muscles, it takes much force to pull it out of me. I try not to use my fingernails either. I still think it’s great that it saves so much tampon trash and it costs $35 a year. But STILL, what am I doing wrong? How come so many women can get it to last forever?
Out of the 3 I tried (Lunette, Lily and Moon) Moon is by far my favorite – it is made of sturdier silicone, which makes it easier to insert (doesn’t bend or wobble) and allows it to open up quickly and prevents leaking. That’s all a girl can ask for in a menstrual cup. The Lunette is not bad as far as leaking goes, but would sometimes still turn at a funny angle and leak. And the Lily is waaaay too soft for my liking – difficult to insert and rarely opens without a whole lot of encouragement. So the verdict is – Moon cup is the best!
The Keeper was my first and only cup for the past 9 years. I thought it was ok despite regularly experiencing pain/discomfort, because anything is better than TSS (which I had 6 times from tampons). I first got my size B (smaller) Keeper at age 35; I have not been pregnant ever. In the past few years my Keeper would regularly leak, and I had to dump and clean it at least every 4 hours on heavy and medium flow days. I never loved it, but I loved not using tampons. This weekend I finally got a new cup (femme); what a huge difference! So much better! No leaks, lasts 12 hours, firm rim and super soft cup, it’s so much easier to insert (KeeperCup is way firm, tough to fold and insert). I’ll never go back to the Keeper. But I am grateful for the years without TSS. Happy that there are so many other options now.
AWFUL customer service. Just awful.
For me, this product leaked during my heavy days. I also experienced pain with removal, as the cup is really stiff and springs open when you pull it out.
Just wore the mooncup us version today. Of all the cups I’ve worn so far, this is the only one I can honestly say I forgot I was wearing. The stiffer keeper version is comfortable also, but this one is probably the best. I wish it held more because I’d wear it during my heavy flow days if it were.
